THE STORY BEHIND

It all began outside the Old Stage of the Royal Danish Theatre in Copenhagen.

While walking past the theatre, I was captivated by the beautiful ornamental details decorating its historic domes. I stopped to photograph them, knowing they would become part of my artistic journey.

That photograph later became part of my artwork Stay Golden. But the story didn't end there.

The intricate symbols and architectural ornaments continued to inspire me. I carefully redrew and reinterpreted the original details, transforming them into a graphic pattern created especially for silk. Rather than reproducing the architecture itself, this scarf captures its elegance, rhythm and history in a contemporary design.

The Old Stage, Copenhagen is connected to Stay Golden, yet stands as an original creation of its own—a piece of wearable art born from the same moment of inspiration.
