From visual communication to contemporary art
My artistic practice is rooted in more than 25 years of experience in visual communication, advertising and design.
My creative journey began during the early years of the internet, when I joined Framtidsfabriken (later Framfab) — one of Sweden's pioneering digital agencies. At a time when the web was still an unexplored creative landscape, I worked with digital design and visual communication, discovering new ways to combine technology, storytelling and visual experiences.
With a foundation in graphic design, I later expanded my creative expertise by studying copywriting, eventually working as both a Concept Copywriter and Art Director. Throughout my career in advertising, I collaborated with brands and organisations where ideas, storytelling and visual identity formed the foundation of every project.
Those years taught me far more than how to communicate visually. They gave me a deep understanding of how images shape perception, evoke emotion and create lasting connections. The art of telling stories through visuals continues to influence everything I create today.
Midway through my career, I chose to explore another creative path by studying interior design and opening my own interior design store. This experience transformed the way I think about art. I came to understand that an artwork never exists in isolation — it lives alongside architecture, light, materials and the people who encounter it every day.
Today, I work in the space where art, design and interiors naturally meet. My background allows me to approach each artwork not simply as an image, but as part of a larger experience — something that can influence the atmosphere of a room, spark conversation and create emotional connection.
Through photography, digital composition and storytelling, I transform fragments of reality that I have collected over the years into imagined worlds. Every artwork begins with something real, but evolves into a visual narrative that invites the viewer to pause, reflect and discover their own story within it.
