The dandelion fields become a place of reflection, resilience and renewal. The figure is not only a person within the image, but a symbol of those who have endured, adapted and continued forward despite what they have carried.

Still Standing is part of the ongoing series The Children of the Dandelions — a collection of interconnected visual narratives where each artwork carries its own story while contributing to a larger universe.

Built from multiple photographic and digital layers, the artwork combines fragments of reality collected over many years into an imagined landscape shaped by memory, emotion and hope.

Throughout The Children of the Dandelions, the characters become guardians, guides and keepers of memory. They represent those who have been unseen, forgotten or left behind — their stories continuing through those willing to remember and carry them forward.
