About this artwork

Same Old Bla Bla Bla is composed of seven photographs that come together to create a rich, multidimensional narrative. The work gives Audrey Hepburn a lasting presence, capturing and preserving the fleeting and ephemeral nature of street art.

Layers built from photographs of artworks that may no longer exist on the streets are combined with urban environments, including Malmö Central Station and details from the streets of Alicante. Through this combination, new visual dialogues and narratives emerge.

The work is a tribute to the transient nature of street art, while also celebrating Audrey’s enduring presence in popular culture. It becomes a photographic archive that allows the motif to live on beyond time and place.

The work explores how art and iconic figures can outlive their physical surroundings and continue to tell stories long after the originals have disappeared.
