Frida, I have your back | Floating frame

Frida, I Have Your Back is a photographic collage composed of 12 individual photographs, woven together to create a layered and multidimensional visual narrative.

The work is a tribute to both the enduring presence of Frida Kahlo and the fragile, temporary nature of street art. Through photography, moments of urban expression that may no longer exist are preserved and transformed into a new artistic dialogue.

Layers of graffiti, found details and photographed artworks come together, creating connections between different places, times and visual stories. Among the elements incorporated into the piece are details from street art, Kastrup Airport, Gardermoen Airport and the roof of Liseberg Grand Curiosa Hotel.

The artwork explores how art can transcend its original location. A mural painted on a wall may disappear, but through photography it can continue to carry meaning, memories and stories beyond its physical existence.

Frida, I Have Your Back becomes a visual archive of the temporary — a celebration of the way art survives, transforms and continues to speak across time and space.
