THE STORY BEHIND
Dandelions is inspired by my artwork series The Children of the Dandelions.
The pattern captures a field of dandelions in bloom—not as a literal landscape, but as a quiet memory translated into colour, texture and form. Individual flowers of different sizes seem to drift gently across the silk, creating movement while preserving a sense of stillness.
Beneath the flowers lies a subtly crackled concrete surface. The contrast between the delicate blooms and the weathered background reflects a recurring theme in my work: beauty has the remarkable ability to emerge in unexpected places, even where time has left its mark.
Like the artwork series itself, this scarf celebrates resilience, hope and the quiet strength found in nature. It invites the wearer to carry a small reminder that even the most fragile flower can flourish against all odds.
