In Before I Go, we meet one of the guardians of the dandelion fields — a figure who has spent a lifetime guiding those who are lost, carrying forgotten stories and helping others find their way home.

His journey is not one of conquest, but of quiet devotion. A life shaped by compassion, responsibility and the belief that every person deserves to be seen, remembered and cared for.

The work explores the weight of carrying others, and the moment when even the strongest among us must accept that rest is also part of the journey. After a lifetime of giving, the guardian finally finds peace — not as an ending, but as a transformation into something that continues beyond himself.

Before I Go is part of the ongoing series The Children of the Dandelions — a collection of interconnected visual narratives where each artwork carries its own story while contributing to a larger universe.

Built from layered photography and digital composition, the artwork combines fragments of reality collected over many years into an imagined landscape shaped by memory, emotion and hope.

Throughout The Children of the Dandelions, the characters become keepers of memory, belonging and hope. They represent those who have been unseen, forgotten or left behind, and the ones who choose to carry their stories forward.

Each artwork is accompanied by a poem or short story that expands the narrative beyond the image. The artwork captures one defining moment; the full story continues outside the frame.
